Run Everywhere In ASICS Apparel

Irvine, CA (March 1, 2006) - ASICS Performance Run™ apparel collection is technical apparel that fuses innovation and ingenuity to address the needs of the running enthusiast. Function is the primary core value applied to this collection. Runners have specific requirements such as reflectivity for safety, UV protection from sun exposure, breathability and moisture transfer for comfort, as well as soft fabrications and flat seams to help reduce chafing. For Fall 2006, ASICS will offer an expanded outerwear line to compliment the ever-successful Thermopolis® collection of layering products. The Storm Shelter™ Jacket, Storm Shelter™ Pant and Storm Shelter™ Softshell offer wind and water protection through innovative construction, and/or laminating, while providing moisture management from the inside. These waterproof pieces are made from fabrics that are extremely soft to the touch, lightweight and quiet, ensuring comfort and performance throughout your activity, regardless of weather conditions.

In Spring 2006, ASICS introduced the women’s Run Everywhere™ apparel collection. Fall 2006 sees the expansion of this line with the introduction of the men’s Run Everywhere apparel, as well as more offerings for women.
