Beijing Olympian Suzy Powell (Modesto, CA) led Team ASICS at the Reebok Games with a third place finish in the Discus Throw. Powell, who has finished on the podium in each of her competitions this season, threw the discus 61.34m to secure third place.

Other ASICS athletes who competed in New York were Beijing Olympian April Steiner-Bennett (Springdale, AR), who cleared 4.42m (14' 6") in the Pole Vault to finish in fourth place, and Latosha Wallace (San Marcos, TX) section 1 winner in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 56.02sec.
