Beautiful faces of kids I would see running every day in Ethiopia, yet words cannot describe how horrific their living conditions are. I hope to find a sponsor for one child for each mile I run at #ChicagoMarathon. Will you join me? I sponsor children in Kenya and Ethiopia and have been able to meet one of them. I can tell you that not only is that child's life forever changed with health, nutrition, and education but it changes your life as well. http://cause.worldvision.org/sarahall
Spent a good chunk of 2015 in the highlands of Ethiopia, it has become a part of all of us now. There are some things I will not miss: dodging horse carts and donkeys on tempo runs, food-born illness, people yelling "CHINA!" at me (No, I am not Chinese), the occasional unruly dog or villager. But there are so many more things I will miss. The smell of smoke mixed with spices, speaking Amharic with new friends, the flavorful buttery stews, and running through stunning green valleys. I am forever changed by what I saw and the people I met and have resolved to bring much needed aid to this beautiful country. Will you join me in sponsoring a child living in extreme poverty? http://bit.do/sarahall
Guy watching me soak in freezing river- "What are you, training for the Olympics or something?" Me- "Actually, yes!" 😏
Traveling 24+ hours solo with 3 kids in tow was a breeze thanks to my amazing kids. They even fight over who gets to carry my stuff!
This girl (my daughter Mia) used to see a plane fly overhead in her rural village and daydream "what if this plane landed here and took me to America?" Today her dream comes true!
