GEL-Nimbus® 10

Over the past several years, the GEL-Nimbus® series has established itself as a leader among performance cushioning shoes, with several factors contributing to its success. The first is unmistakably the shoe’s incredible cushioning coupled with a broad, stable, and flexible base of support. Other factors that make this shoe a must-have include fantastic upper comfort, great fit, and excellent durability. With the GEL Nimbus® 10, ASICS will continue climbing the same path of success, with additions that enhance the ride, fit and overall comfort.

The GEL-Nimbus® 10 will begin arriving in running specialty stores in May 2008 and spread to more retailers by June 2008.

GEL-Cumulus® 10

Since the first GEL-Cumulus® was introduced to the market in 1999, this mid-range trainer has gained a loyal following among neutral runners, as well as those mild over-pronators who prefer a plush ride. The newest version, the GEL Cumulus® 10, will take a step up to a technical level that delivers more platform comfort, more stability, and a better upper fit than any previous version. In short, the GEL Cumulus® 10 will graduate to a higher level of performance than ever before.

The GEL-Cumulus® 10 will begin arriving in running specialty stores in May 2008 and spread to more retailers by June 2008.

GEL-Evolution™ 4

When the research behind ASICS’ Impact Guidance System® philosophy suggested that the foot should be allowed to move more freely, the concept for the first GEL-Evolution™ was born. Each subsequent model in the series has been designed to ensure the best possible environment for the foot, enabling a natural transition at heel strike and an efficient position at toe-off. The latest version, the GEL-Evolution™ 4, will stay true to that principal, but will evolve the concept of Maximum Support to a level not found on any previous model.

The GEL-Evolution™ 4 will become available beginning June 2008.

GEL-Trabuco® 11

The GEL-Trabuco® has enjoyed a long run as the top seller in ASICS® trail collection, and for good reason: Like all exceptional trail shoes, this mainstay in the line performs well on a variety of surfaces and fits a broad range of runners. While some might be wary of any radical moves away from what was an excellent formula, the new version will feature new elements, like the new outsole, forefoot flexibility and waterproof or water-resistant upper, that take the series to new levels of performance.

The GEL-Trabuco® 11 WR (water-resistant) and the GEL-Trabuco® 11 WP (waterproof) will become available beginning June 2008.

GEL-Trail Sensor® 2

Most performance trail shoes on the market today feature some sort of technical lacing set-up. The new GEL-Trail Sensor® 2 takes lacing and upper fit to a whole new level of functionality. The new ASICS Inner Lock Lacing System provides a remarkably secure fitting environment by using two inner fit sleeves that wrap the instep with every tightening of the laces. This addition to the water-resistant upper plus the same great trail sensing midsole/outsole platform make the shoe your best companion for the toughest trail conditions.

The GEL-Trail Sensor® 2 will become available in retailers beginning June 2008.
