STEP INTO OUR AMAZING ELECTRIC TIGER LAND

For 2008 we maintain our strong ‘Made of Japan’ philosophy, and this time we bring it to life with the Electric Light Shoe - a dramatic, one metre illuminated shoe that pays homage to the incredible ambience and energy of Japan. The detailed 3-D sculpture incorporates distinctive elements such as Tokyo’s unmistakable skyline, vibrant neon signage, transport, night markets, and vending machines.

The sculpture reflects our deep-rooted Japanese heritage, as well as our attitude to modern-day Japan, in an inspired and imaginative way.

For those of you wanting to find out more about the sculpture, including its ground-breaking creation, watch the 'Making Of film'. Additionally, you can roll over the Electric Light Shoe visual and bring yourself up to speed on what Japan has to offer in the way of enlightenment.

The original sculpture will tour from one Onitsuka Tiger store to the other throughout the year. But don’t worry if you don’t catch it; you’ll still be able to enjoy the Electric Tiger Land experience first hand as fully scaled 70cm models of the Electric Light Shoe, amongst other Tokyo skyline inspired items, will illuminate the way in each of our Onitsuka Tiger stores.
